Word Solitaire

Word Solitaire is a fun puzzle game in which you have to arrange the cards by meaning. Stack up the word cards and picture cards in groups that have a theme in common.

The themes range from fairly straightforward, such as “insects” or “items of clothing”, to more abstract concepts like “things that are invisible”. Can you work out the right way to group the cards without running out of space?

How to play Word Solitaire?

Look for cards that share a certain theme, and stack them on top of one another, like you would in a game of Klondike solitaire. 

Cards with a little crown in the top corner are foundation cards. Place them in one of the empty spaces at the top. Foundation cards reveal the theme of each set. You can now stack the cards that match this theme on top. When you complete the set, it will disappear, opening up more space.

Keep going until you’ve cleared away all of the cards. If you cannot move any cards, your can tap the spare cards pile in the top right corner to turn over a new card.
